Simply type in the key twice and click OK, and in moments your
network and the Internet will be available.
If your Wi-Fi network requires more intricate configuration, or you know of a
Wi-Fi network that does not broadcast its name (SSID), you have to dig deeper into
the wireless configuration, as explained in Step 4.
Step 4: Configure Your Computer for Hidden
or More Secure Wi-Fi Systems
To add a new network that may not be broadcasting its SSID, or to set specific parameters
for a known network in advance, you need to access the Properties dialog box
for your wireless network adapter:
Choose Start | Connect To | Show All Connections to open the Network
Connections window, shown in Figure 2-8.

Right-click the name of the network connection, choose Properties to open
the Wireless Network Connection Properties dialog box, and click the Wireless
Networks tab, shown in Figure 2-9.
Select the wireless network adapter from the Preferred Networks list and
click Add to open the Properties dialog box, shown in Figure 2-10.
