Right-click your
Ethernet connection and select Properties. Double-click Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP) to access the TCP/IP Properties, select the Obtain An IP Address
Automatically and Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically radio buttons,
and click OK to close the dialog boxes.
Access the KR1??™s setup home page, shown in Figure 16-4, by opening Internet
Explorer and typing the IP address 192.168.0.1 into IE??™s Address bar.

On the KR1 router??™s home page, click the Run Wizard button.
The first page of the setup wizard (see Figure 16-5) prompts you to change the
access password for the device from the default, admin. This is a good time to
do this and is highly recommended. Click the Next button to continue.
On the next wizard page (see Figure 16-6), select your time zone. This is more
a convenience for accurate log files and not a requirement. Set the time zone
and then click the Next button.

The wizard prompts you for WAN settings (see Figure 16-7), in this case, the
settings necessary for your router and cell modem to make a data connection.
For most EVDO connections, all fields are left blank except the Dial-
Number field, which is usually #777.
