You don??™t need to change the default
settings, so click the Next button.
The next step of the KR1 setup wizard (see Figure 16-8) is to establish the
Wi-Fi settings for the wireless portion of the router. Type in the name (SSID)
you??™d like to give the router??™s wireless network, select a channel to use (Channel
6 is the typical default selection for most Wi-Fi gear??”choosing Channel 1
or 11 will usually keep you away from others??™ interference), and then click
the Next button.

On the Setup Encryption page (see Figure 16-9), provide the security settings
you would like for your wireless network??”WPA and a complicated passphrase
are recommended. Click the Next button.
At the completion of the KR1 setup wizard (see Figure 16-10), you are
instructed to restart your router to save and apply the settings you chose.
Click the Restart button to continue.
