This setting will allow DHCP
configuration requests to pass from your LAN??™s router/firewall to any computers
connected to the other end of the bridge. Wait about 30??“60 seconds for the gaming
adapter to adjust to the new settings.

Step 3: Reset Your Computer to Work with the Bridge
We??™re going to reverse the computer IP address settings from Step 1 so that your computer
connects to your existing network as before, through the bridge.
Change your computer??™s Ethernet address from 192.168.0.2 to DHCP. Click Start,
right-click My Network Places, and choose Properties. Right-click your wired network
adapter, choose Properties, and double-click the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
entry. Select the Obtain An IP Address Automatically radio button, to allow your
computer to pick up the IP address provided by the newly configured bridge. Click
OK twice to close the dialog boxes and let the setting take effect.
In a matter of seconds, your computer and the network bridge will have adopted
settings for your network, and you??™re ready to move the bridge to another part of
your house to provide a wired connection to extend your network.
